I love data, problem solving, discovering new places, being inspired to inform change and helping our Western Spaces be the best they can be.
I am a strong believer in giving back and offering my unique skills where needed. I have served on the boards of many non-profits, completed pro-bono research projects and donated my time to many causes.
If you have a question, a topic you want to dive deeper into, a project or just some thoughts, don't hesitate to contact me. I choose several projects a year to complete Free of Charge, simply out of my own unending curiosity about the world around us. All projects need to be open source, invite collaboration and provide public access to data. Sharing data and knowledge makes our world a better place.
Western Spaces was founded by Sarah Brown McClain. She is a Colorado native with a BA in Environmental Policy and a Masters in Urban Planning. She has spent her life working in affordable housing, community development and environmental preservation. At Western Spaces we use data and collaboration to promote whole diverse communities.
